Design is where it all began for me, I was one of those kids that loved to shuffle my bedroom around whoever i felt like i needed a change!

Coming from a building family background, with very practical hands on parents, i was sanding doors and helping re decorate houses from an early age. As a family we were always doing something to our house in both England or in France. My big brother studied engineering and went on to take over the family building business and my younger brother is a carpenter. I grew up in a house where we had to muck in, strip doors. I am not just a soft furnishings type of girl… i like getting stuck into the nitty gritty too.

I have always felt that my design skills and my photography work well side by side and allow me the freedom to forfill fill both my passions.

One of the reasons that i love both interior design and photography is my love of doing things for other people and making them happy. That pleasure on a clients face when they see their photos for the first time, the tear they shed for that picture that captures their toddlers personality perfectly or that moment they see their finished room for the fist time. That sheer pleasure on their face and the knowledge that i did something great for them, made them smile, is an incredible feeling and makes me strive to achieve this daily.

My design style and approach is similar to the way i tackle my photography. i believe that interior design should be accessible to all and all budgets. I love a trip to Ikea just as much as any designer brand. I work closely with you to get to know your style and help you create a space that will suit your lifestyle, as well as being sympathetic to your space, combining the practical solutions with maximum visual impact. I Love many different styles both classical and contemporary and love combining the two to create stand out, complimentary designs.

During my years at university studying Interior Architecture I tackled a wide variety of projects. This led on to me working for Fired Earth as a designer as well as taking on my own projects, both Commercial and residential. I loved amercing myself into them, a bit like a method actor!! I aim to make sure that my design works for both the client and the customer on a visual and practical level. No project is too big or too small. Happy to hold your hand through the whole process, be that a new bathroom/kitchen, designing a colour scheme or opening your own business.

I am very lucky to be a able to say that these two things that i love have become my career.
